Yesterday I mentioned we put up our first tree, but I realized that post just wasn't complete without trying to get a picture of the pups in front of the tree...which is, admittedly, quite the challenge now that we've got Samson. He's probably the most unphotogenic animal...ever. In person, adorable. In pictures, something all goes wrong.
Cooper, Tucker (coming to get the treat dangling over the camera), and Samson...

...he just doesn't get it!

Check out these paws...and how mad he was at the camera!
Finally! Got a cute one!
In case you missed the post about how we became the weird-dog-people who have too many animals, Samson is a one-ish year old puppy that someone dumped out at DW's Granny's house. We decided to foster him for a while we worked on giving him some social skills and basic command knowledge. I was in a hurry to get him trained and gone because I couldn't handle any more dog hair to clean, but to my surprise, this one doesn't shed hardly at all! There went my excuse!
Anyway, I knew it was over when I saw DW and Samson on the couch watching the football game like this:
Cooper and Samson have become best friends so we are worried how she will handle it when/if we give him away. The truth is: we probably have another lab unless the most perfect family comes along and wants him. I know, I know...this officially makes us weirdos.

Oh Amy,he is so adorable.
Love the pic with him and Dusty.
Nah, we used to have 3 dogs. But, one got sick... Anyways, I don't think that makes ya'll weirdos! He is very cute!!!
i laughed outloud at "this officially makes us weirdos." haha! by the way, i wanted you to know i have a new blog address. i tagged it with my name. hope you are having a great week with your new family addition.:)
oops jk didn't work. i'm dumb. it's www.theharwells.net
IT could be worse. You could be "cat" people. (o:
I love your doggie addition - your house and your tree look FULL.
Nope, you are so not weirdos! Those are precious! We dog folks can't help how much we love our puppies! Spanky and Scrappy are a mess! It wouldn't be right without them!
Definitely not weirdos or that makes us one too! We recently took in a stray and at first I was hesitant but we have grown to love and adore him and he is now definitely part of the family! We have 3 males plus my hubby so as you can see I have no say in anything! HA
Hey - taking pictures of dogs is WAY harder the kids... if you can get a good one - you're a professional! :)
You should visit my blog - being a dog lover, you'd TOTALLY LOVE the video I put on yesterday with a song called God/Dog... it makes me tear up.. it will you too!!!
I think they're all such cuties! You guys are great pup parents!! Hope things are going well with you guys!
Ok seriously, that is the most adorable picture of Samson & DW. That's just too cute!
You're not weird at all! I think it is wonderful that you rescued Samson.
I think all three of them took good pictures. :)
I'm impressed you can get them to sit and stay. Mine inch toward me throughout the pose so all the pictures end up blurry!
That's always how it works. We picked up Riley's little mutt coming back from Lubbock with the intent of "finding him a home". We couldn't give the darn thing away! Now, a year later, 2 families have asked for him and we are finding it difficult to part ways! Gotta love "dog people" like you and I!Ha!
At least they aren't cats... THEN you would be freaks too. ; )
We have 3 dogs too... Welcome to the club! I love mine and wouldn't trade them for the world.
