Chocolate Addiction

A client recently recommended a recipe that is amazing despite being really quick and easy to make! I'm not sure where she got it from or I'd reference it, but I thought I'd share it anyway in case you needed something to "wow" your guests this Thanksgiving but don't have a ton of time:

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Krispie Bars

Prep/Cook Time: 30 min
Preheat: 350 degrees

Ingredients:
1 Family Style Brownie mix
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup salted peanuts, lightly crushed
1 can vanilla frosting
1 cup rice krispies

Preparation:
Prepare brownies according to instructions and allow to cool completely. While brownies are baking, mix salted peanuts and vanilla frosting. Set aside. Melt 3/4 cup to 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup creamy peanut butter on the stove. Once melted, add 1 cup rice krispie treats and stir. Set aside.

After brownies have cooled, layer vanilla frosting and peanut mixture evenly on top. Then pour pb/chocolate/rice krispie mix over top and spread evenly. Put in refrigerator briefly to cool and set chocolate topping.

Cut into bite-sized pieces (it's really rich) and serve.
