Shew!

So I have my 6 week checkup for my surgery this Friday with my infertility specialist...just over a week ago I was feeling really low because the doctor had said that his hope is that I would have started a cycle on my own by the time we met and I hadn't. I was really dreading the appointment because I didn't want to hear that the surgery wasn't a success or that our only option was IVF again...so imagine my great joy when I started a cycle on my own last week!!!! I may be one of the few women on the planet that see that as a monumental event, but I'm so thankful for answered prayers.

Life is flying by right now...Dusty and are in the process of getting all of our FitLab stuff in a new space and all of the work that goes into it - meeting with electricians, moving the treadmills, ordering the flooring, working with the website design person, etc...is a little crazy! We're actually to the point that we are doing this full on, for real. And by that, I mean we're in our own retail space now rather than renting a section of someone else's location. It's scary in one sense but, on the other hand, I'm so happy for this opportunity.

We spent this weekend painting the space and while it's still a mess and we don't have our equipment in yet, you can see here we were going for an semi-"industrial" look. The top part is a pale yellow, middle part is white, and the bottom part is a charcoal grey and we've got some brushed steel picture frames that are going on the walls once its finished:

Hopefully by the end of this week, we'll have our website up and I can share it with you!

I am so happy for you Amy! I remember when you posted that you had suddenly lost your job, then you posted that you were going to start a business with DW. And now you're in your own building. That's just so exciting. I can't wait to see the building once it's completed.

Oh, I get it. I started my period right on time last week, too, exactly when I hoped to following Duncan's death, so I really, truly get it. I am praying good things for your appt on Friday.

And I love how the space is coming together. =)
