Operation Surprise Mom!

On Saturday morning I text my Mom early to tell her Happy Birthday, but it was really just a decoy! She had no idea that I'd be hopping on a plane in a few hours, headed for Dallas to crash her Birthday party in person. My brother picked me up at the airport and when we arrived at my grandmother's house and walked in, my Mom had her back to the door. We wiggled the handle on the door, causing her to turn around and when her mouth fell open, I knew that Operation Surprise Mom On Her Birthday was a success!

I flew in town a few days early to celebrate but I'm technically in town for a couple FitLab assessments and a few reassessments. I just couldn't say anything on the blog earlier or else I would have ruined the surprise!

Happy Birthday, Mom! I'm so glad I got to spend your special day with you!

Hey! I've been reading your blog for a while and just noticed in an older post that you came to Sparkle City (Spartanburg). That's where I live. Looked like you were at First Baptist? Wish I'd known you were so close. I would've tried to find you and give you a great big hug and thank you for what you do and how your blog helps me to appreciate all that I am blessed with. Look me up if you ever come back!!
