Things have been pretty quiet around here the last several days! DW is working a lot and I've been recovering from my surgery. It's been much more easy than I expected it to be but today was my first true day back at work and I noticed I tire out easier than normal...or at least that's what I'm telling myself.
This past weekend we helped our friends move into their first home of their own - Congrats, Daniel & Krista - and then on Sunday I cleaned like I've never cleaned before in my life. I have no idea what happened, but I found myself vacuuming even the walls in our house. I cleaned every room and I cleaned for hours. Strange. It must have been something I ate!
Over the next several weeks, we've got a lot going on...I'm going on a mission trip with our youth group to Spartanburg, South Carolina. I'm looking forward to it, but I can honestly say I'm not sure what to expect working with high school girls! I'm sure it will be great! After that, hopefully a beach trip somewhere with DW. (Thanks for the suggestions by the way!)
Have a great week!

I'm so glad it sounds like your recovery is going well. Hope your mission trip goes well, and that you get your beach trip soon.
So glad to hear you are doing well! You will be great on the trip and I'm sure all those girls will think you are SO cool and look up to you :) You are a great role model! I have strange cleaning fits too-LOL! Don't know why...but it just happens sometimes!

Hope you enjoy the beach trip coming up!
I wish I could get on a cleaning binge, but I just want to sleep! Have fun on the mission trip!
Um, do you realize that we'll be about 25 minutes away from you when you're in Spartanburg! Greenville is so close! I know it's probably not possible to see you since you're leading the trip, but I would love to!
I can tell you EXACTLY what to expect with teenage girls - DRAMA!! :) Everything is such a big deal... & giggling - lots of giggling!!! You'll have a great time though - nothing like being with teenage girls - they make you feel young!!! Enjoy - rest so you get all your strength up for that!
Glad to hear you are doing well! Have fun on the mission trip!

have a great time on the mission trip!!
isn't it strange when the "cleaning bug" bites you? It happens to me sometimes too and before I know it the house is spotless! Have fun on your trip!
We just had two teenage girls from a different church's youth come stay with us for four days and all I can say to you for your trip is.. good luck!
Nah, they weren't that bad. But did we all sleep as little and talk as much when we were 15?!? Because i swear I required ridiculous amounts of sleep even at that age.
